 I provide personalized Bitcoin education and technical guidance, including basic Bitcoin use, self-custody, wallet setup, sending/receiving transactions, proper storage of private keys/passwords, scam/fraud prevention, and guidance on how to pursue advanced strategies like multisig "vaults", IRAs and inheritance planning. 

 Bitcoin is for everyone! My clients come from all walks of life, spanning different ages, genders, and backgrounds—from millennials to boomers, college students to retirees. I’ve worked with countless individuals, each with unique needs, goals, and learning styles. With a strong background in education ranging from elementary and college-level instruction to adult education, I am confident in my ability to teach anyone how to use Bitcoin. My services are tailored for individuals at any level—whether you’re brand new to Bitcoin or seeking to deepen your knowledge with advanced strategies and tools. My sessions are custom-tailored, and can include individuals, couples or groups. 

 No, I do not! I am not a financial advisor. My focus is on technical education, teaching you how to use Bitcoin efficiently and effectively at a technical level. If you’re seeking advice on financial or investment decisions, I recommend consulting with a licensed professional in your jurisdiction. As mentioned elsewhere on my website, I have many connections in the industry and would be happy to refer you to trusted individuals or companies that specialize in Bitcoin IRAs and similar services.

I typically respond quickly, often within a few minutes, but if I’m traveling or without internet or cell service, I’ll get back to you within 24-48 hours. I’m happy to answer any preliminary questions you may have via email, and we can also schedule a free 15-minute phone call to discuss your goals, needs, and objectives. If we decide on meeting in person here in southern California or over Zoom (with Screen Share), then we can schedule an appointment. 

I charge an hourly rate of $150/hour for my technical advising and education services. This rate includes both in-person and online sessions. I may add fees if I have to travel outside of San Diego to meet with a client or a group of clients, however. I prefer in-person sessions but online sessions or even just a phone call can also be very helpful.

 Appointments typically last 1.5 to 2 hours, allowing enough time to cover topics in depth and ensure you leave with a clear understanding. If you'd like to cover more material and have the energy for a longer session, I’m happy to accommodate extended appointments as needed. Each session is custom-tailored to your pace and goals. In my experience, the average client requires at least 2 sessions of 1.5-2 hours each until they are ready to be on their own. Some clients only need 30 minutes or so of my time, as they just have specific questions about their next steps, and I just simply point them in the right direction to a particular website or company, saving them hours of research and studying on their own. Some former clients even text or call me from time to time and utilize me as a personal coach and go to resource for all Bitcoin-related items as they continue along their Bitcoin journey. 

 Both! I provide in-person 1-on-1 sessions for clients in San Diego and Southern California and virtual sessions via Zoom with screen sharing for clients anywhere in the world. This can be individual or group sessions.

Each session is custom-tailored to your needs. Sessions can be heavily structured and led by me to cover specific items that I think are important and necessary based on your needs/goals, or they could be more unstructured and can just be a back and forth question and answer session with hands-on training and experiential learning. Topics can include setting up and using wallets, sending/receiving transactions, securing your private keys, avoiding scams/fraud, sourcing hardware wallets and other items from reputable suppliers, and more. Advanced topics like multisig and inheritance planning are also available.

 Sometimes! I often have new, unopened hardware wallets and other items, like steel seed plates, in stock. If I don’t have what you need, I can help you source trusted hardware wallets and provide guidance on using them securely. I also have connections with local distributors and can often source these items locally for you. As for Bitcoin IRAs and similar products, I don’t directly offer these services but can connect you with reputable companies I trust that specialize in them.

Not usually, but I can! While my primary focus is on Bitcoin, I can assist you in learning about other cryptocurrencies and digital assets. I will explain why I only focus on Bitcoin and why it is different from all other cryptocurrencies. I can help you understand the key differences between alternative cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin, and teach you how to use all cryptocurrency and digital assets safely and securely. If you’re interested in exploring the broader cryptocurrency landscape, or already own other cryptocurrencies, I’m here to guide you in that process.

 Yes! I can assist with wallet recovery and technical troubleshooting services. If it's something I cannot solve, I can always refer you to a specialist who can resolve more advanced technical issues. 

Bitcoin is preferred! I can also take Venmo, Zelle and cash as well.
